Oppose DU Transportation Exemption
The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) has applied for the renewal of a special U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) exemption, DOT-E 9649, which allows the shipment of depleted uranium munitions without a DOT "Radioactive" placard displayed on the shipment.
Help stop the unsafe shipment of DU munitions.
Stop Military Exemptions
The Pentagon is once again demanding sweeping new exemptions from U.S. public health and environmental laws. Broad categories of military activities could become exempt from clean air law, and over 25 million acres of military ranges could become exempt from hazardous waste and toxic cleanup laws.
Help stop military exemptions.
